Self Defense
We can all hope that there will be no need to engage in self-defense during the coming influenza pandemic. In the event that civil disorder breaks out in your area as a result of a breakdown in law and order, you and your family may be faced with the prospect of violence. Since this is a foreseeable risk that could have the direst consequences for those you love and care about, taking steps now to cope with it is a rational act. Few people alive today in the western world have faced civil disorder on the order we are likely to see due to pandemic influenza. Most live peaceful and non-violent lives and have no or little experience with physical violence. Coping with these circumstances then will be quite difficult and challenging.
The documents placed in this folder are published on the Internet and readily available to anyone wishing to search for them. Many of the documents were first published in the 1940s during WWII and were used for training of solders. They are designed to teach “regular Joes” how to use knives and handguns in combat, specifically how to kill. Many will find this material objectionable and abhorrent. In that case, don’t access it. My purpose in placing this material on this website is not to encourage violence or to cause anyone harm. On the contrary, it is to provide those of you tasked with the defense of your Pandemic Survival Group with training material on how to use these widely available weapons to provide self-defense for the defenseless within your community.
